Thailand Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), has announced its direction under the vision "TCMA Synergizing the Actions toward Net Zero 2050." The initiative aims to lead the cement industry towards achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and to integrate cooperation from all sectors, with a focus on the following four key objectives over the next two years (2024-2026):
1) Developing and researching new types of low-carbon cement.
2) Accelerating the responsible mining of resources.
3) Establishing an ecosystem and leveraging the strengths of cement production processes to manage/create added value from waste materials (Turn Waste to Value).
4) Driving innovation in the cement industry towards energy transition.
