INSEE Ecocycle with a collaboration with PTT Innovation Institute won a 2022 International Gold Green Apple Environment Award from The Green Organization, U.K. for an automatic food waste composter in recognition of our effort to help to protect the environment and close the loop in circular economy. This award was presented at The Houses of Parliament, London on 21 November 2022.

INSEE Ecocycle was delighted to receive 2022 International Gold Green Apple Environment Award thanks to our food waste composting project that aims to help to close the gap of circular economy, encourage waste segregation at source, and reduce the impact from food waste by offering a composting solution. We have worked with the leading innovation institute in Thailand, PTT Innovation Institute, to develop the food waste composter that comes with innovative technology allowing for an automated and odorless composting process. Utilizing our proprietary microorganisms, food waste is transformed to bio-soil in only 12 hours.

Suchintana Viraratt, Chief Executive Officer, INSEE Ecocycle revealed that “We are committed to our mission to help clients and partners improve their environmental footprint, achieve sustainability goals, and move towards circular economy by offering sustainable waste management and industrial services.  We ensure that we are going on the right path by consistently studying our clients to understand their needs and help them out with our sustainable solutions. The food waste composter is the latest innovation we co-created with PTT Innovation Institute that uses natural microorganisms to compose food waste into bio-soil. This will reduce the amount of food waste that could potentially end up in landfills causing methane gases that impact global warming, and also prevent the contamination of food waste from other waste sources that can be recycled or used as RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) according to circular economy principle

The Green Organization, an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environmental group, gives this award to recognize and reward organizations who demonstrate environmental best practices around the world and INSEE Ecocycle received the honor. We are proud of what we are doing and what we have achieved. This award will become one of our driving forces to work harder and ensure that we will continue to move forward to help our clients and partners achieve their sustainability targets.”
