SCCC Receives Honorary Shield from the Ministry of Labour
Siam City Cement, represented by Ms. Duangporn Boosarawongse, Senior Vice President of People & Organizational Performance, received an honorary shield from the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour. The shield was presented by Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, during a ceremony held at the Ministry's conference room.
In 2023-2024, SCCC donated 215 tons of cement to support worker training in various construction courses across 40 provinces, as part of the Department of Skill Development's annual plan. Over 1,200 individuals received training to enhance their construction skills nationwide.
This collaboration has been ongoing for over 25 years, with the company successfully training more than 26,000 people. The initiative aims to elevate the construction skills of Thai workers, creating more income opportunities and reducing unemployment at both the community and national levels. It also aligns with CSR goals outlined in our INSEE Sustainability Ambition 2030.
