Siam City Cement Secures 17 Green Label Certifications, Reinforcing its Leadership in Sustainability within the Thai Construction Materials Business.
Mr. Serefin Bugeja, Senior Vice President of Saraburi Operations, Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC) (right), received the Green Label certification for "Ecolabel for the Future: Ecolabel for Creating New Business Value" from the Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) at the TEI-Ecolabelling Forum 2025. Dr. Wijarn Simachaya. President of Thailand Environment Institute (left), presented the certificate. The certified products cover 17 items in the cement bags and cement bulk categories, underscoring the Company's role and leadership in driving a low-carbon construction ecosystem with responsibility towards society, community, the environment, stakeholders, and investors, at the Thailand Environment Institute (TEI).
In addition, the Company also received the Eco Advance Pilot Project Certificate under the UNEP Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) program, which aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal No.12 to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
This covers the process from production, transportation, distribution, and the responsible delivery of goods and services to consumers, further reinforcing the company's role and leadership in driving a low-carbon construction ecosystem responsibly.
