On October 2, 2024, INSEE Continues Its Mission of Tree Planting – Biodiversity Conservation by Handing Over 37,000 Trees to the Phu My Species and Habitat Conservation Area. This initiative is one of INSEE’s key activities within its sustainable development strategy, aimed at ecosystem restoration and environmental protection.
Following the handover ceremony, INSEE volunteers actively participated in the tree-planting activity within the conservation area. Despite the scorching heat, 27 volunteers did not hesitate to overcome challenges to fulfill their mission. Along a nearly 4-kilometer-long dike, more than 800 Melaleuca Cajuputi Powell trees, 150 Golden oak & Dipterocarpus alatus trees were planted. This effort is not only intended to green the area but also to create favorable conditions for the development of local flora and fauna.
In addition to tree planting, the volunteers had the opportunity to visit and listen to insightful sharing from representatives of the Phu My Species and Habitat Conservation Area. The session provided valuable information about the area's history, cultural significance, and ecological importance. Particularly, the volunteers learned about the Sarus Crane – an iconic symbol of biodiversity in this region. Protecting this rare bird species is not only the responsibility of the conservation area but also a collective duty of society in preserving Vietnam’s rich natural heritage.
INSEE’s tree-planting initiative at the Phu My Conservation Area not only contributes to environmental greening but also reflects the company’s strong commitment to sustainable development. This is not just a practical action but also a powerful message about the importance of conserving natural resources and biodiversity. By promoting meaningful initiatives such as tree planting, INSEE hopes to inspire more organizations and individuals to join hands in protecting the environment.
Over the years, INSEE has implemented numerous environmental initiatives to contribute positively to ecosystem conservation and sustainable development. The Tree Planting – Biodiversity Conservation Program is one of its flagship annual activities, engaging a wide range of employees and partners. The handover of 37,000 trees to the Phu My Conservation Area marks a significant milestone in INSEE’s long-term journey.
Looking toward the future, INSEE is committed to continuing its collaboration with nature conservation organizations, expanding reforestation and ecosystem restoration efforts in various areas. The company firmly believes that every small action today will bring about significant changes for tomorrow. Environmental protection is not just a responsibility but also an opportunity for us to collectively build a greener, more sustainable future.
This initiative at the Phu My Conservation Area also serves as a strong call to the community on the importance of protecting nature. INSEE hopes that through concrete actions, individuals will become more aware of their role in maintaining ecological balance and preserving valuable natural resources for future generations.
Let us join INSEE in this journey to protect and preserve biodiversity so that today’s young saplings will grow into thriving forests in the future!
