The year 2022 marks the second consecutive time that INSEE Vietnam is honored to be awarded in the category of "Energy Efficiency in Industry" organized by the Office of the Steering Committee on Energy Efficiency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) cooperation with the Vietnam Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Association (VECEA). 

The “Energy Efficiency in Industry Award 2022” was launched to encourage enterprises to implement innovative management and technology solutions to manufacture products with outstanding technical features with high energy efficiency for the market. Thanks to technical innovations and application of cutting-edge technologies, INSEE Vietnam has received the “Energy Efficiency in Industry Award 2022”. This is a great recognition for INSEE's efforts in the journey of "Green" development with Vietnam, the typical example is the INSEE Hon Chong Factory with integrated high technologies in the production line.

The year 2023 marks the 25th anniversary of the INSEE Hon Chong high-tech cement factory (1998 - 2023). During the development journey with Kien Luong district - Kien Giang, the factory has achieved impressive milestones in cement production and waste co-treatment with responsibility for sustainable development. Right from the early days of establishment, the plant has put into operation the Vertical Roller Mild (VRM) which contributes to a 20% reduction in energy consumption compared to the compression technology by rollers and mills. In addition, the power plant from waste heat recovery in production activities at Hon Chong Cement Factory has produced 25% of the power demand of the plant, equivalent to the amount of electricity for 18,000 households in a year and indirectly save about 25,000 tons of carbon emissions equivalent to 9,300 tons of coal in a year. In addition, Ecocycle - as the waste management brand of INSEE Vietnam, brings Co-processing Solution in cement kilns to completely safely treat over 1,600,000 tons of waste, helping to reduce more than 1,000,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions CO2.

In the near future, with the brand philosophy of "Build for Life", INSEE Vietnam will constantly invest and apply the best technologies in order to optimize exploitation and efficient use of natural resources and energy, leading to actively protecting the environment to achieve the goal of sustainable development. From that, INSEE Vietnam in general and Hon Chong Cement Plant in particular can meet the needs of urban infrastructure development and the "Green" construction trend in Vietnam in the future.
