At present, Project owners, architects, engineers, construction material manufacturer as well as government and private sector aware and focus on the development and construction of green buildings. The Siam City Cement Public Company Limited has recognized the importance of developing environmentally friendly products and services to contribute to the sustainability and meet green building standard. Nowaday, green building standard which have been widely accepted and used in Thailand are LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) which was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), USA and TREES: Thai’s Rating of Energy and Environmental Sustainability developed by Thai Green Building Institute (TGBI)
