INSEE Ecocycle together with our employees from Songkhla office joined the beach cleanup and released sea turtles and 5 million crabs at Laem Son On, Songkhla on 9 March 2023. This event was a collaboration between INSEE Ecocycle and government agencies: Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center 2, Second Naval Area Command, Internal Security Operations Command Songkhla, Marine and Coastal Resources Office 5, Marine Office Songkhla Branch, Songkhla City Municipality, Songkhla Port Security Control Centre, Fifth Artillery Battalion, and Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya with the aims to reduce the amount of trash leaked into the environment, to recover the beauty of the beach as a tourist destination and to raise more awareness about the importance of environmental resources. Around 300 participants, which included INSEE Ecocycle employees, government officials and students, took part in the beach cleanup.

As a sustainable waste management and industrial services provider, we are consistently aware of the significance of waste management and tackling the environmental issues. We take sustainable ocean waste management into account to reduce plastic leakage into the ocean, which corresponds with INSEE Sustainability Ambition 2030 to operate in a sustainable way.”
With enthusiasm put into this beach cleanup, 627 kilograms of waste was collected and segregated properly.
