INSEE Ecocycle, together with 60 INSEE team members, took part in World Oceans Day 2023 event under the theme “Planet Ocean: tides are changing” at Lan Hin Khao, Mae Ram Phueng Beach, Rayong organized by Department of Marine and Coastal Resources. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand presided over the event. We came together and created a positive impact to the environment by holding exhibitions, participating in the beach cleanup and releasing fish and turtles into the oceans.
INSEE Ecocycle always supports our customers and partners to move towards circular economy. We consider waste as a resource of which the value should be maximized. We have initiated the RDF project and encouraged drop-off points for non-recyclable wastes, particularly single-use plastic, such as plastic bags, plastic spoons and forks, plastic packaging, which has no economic value and is not worth recycling to undergo pre-processing procedure and be produced as RDF or Refuse Derived Fuel. This method is energy recovery from municipal waste that helps to close the loop for non-recyclable waste and stop the leakage to the ocean. In addition, INSEE Ecocycle has continually expanded our collaboration with partners in preventing and solving plastic issues.
