INSEE Ecocycle Co., Ltd, a green company offering sustainable waste management and industrial services in Thailand,a subsidiary of Siam City Cement Group (SCCC) or INSEE; led by Dr. Vincent Aloysius (3rd left), Chief Executive Officer; together with Thanathorn Trongsittivito (2nd left), Business Expansion & Development Department Manager; and Boonchai Pongnaravan (far left), Alternative Energy Development Division Manager; recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nestlé (Thai) Ltd, one of the country’s leaders in food & beverage industry, represented by Nophadol Siwabutr (center), Head of Corporate Affairs; Satish Srinivasan (3rd right), Head of Technical and Production;Tiziano Olivetti (2nd right), Head of Supply Chain; and Somrudee Boonhaijaroen (far right), Head of Communication & Marketing Services.

The MoU is aimed at formally setting up a collaborative partnership on Energy Recycling project that transforms waste into alternative energy sources to help eliminate accumulated waste and reduce municipal waste dumpsite. This is to promote a proper solid waste management system that also helps reduce the leakage of waste and plastic rubbish into the water resources while shaping a waste-free future.

The joint project has started off since July with the use of integrated technology that turns combustible waste into energy. The solid waste that can generate heat such as plastic shopping bags, snack packagings and non-recyclable plastic debris will be gone through several processes including sorting, size reduction and treatment before being transformed into sustainable energy source.
